Seeing the shrinking size of the game sections at stores and the increase in numbers of people buying laptops, which are usually poor gaming machines and difficult to upgrade to keep them capable of playing the latest games, that PC gamers have been migrating to consoles for a while, I count myself as one of them. I think it has nothing to do with the PS3 but with what a pain it is to keep a PC ready for gaming with the endless patches, driver updates, and annoying tweaks. The only real advantage to a PC is if you want to run games out at the limits of graphics or you like mods for your games but I doubt that is a big audience. I guess there might also be a need for PC gaming if your a big strategy gamer, I doubt grognards are going to find much to their liking on consoles.
