Game Rankings has Final Fantasy IX rated as the best PS1 rpg; however, going by the most hyped game in the series and the one that has had the most side projects made for it, one would think that FFVII is the best of the PS1 era Final Fantasies. So which game do you think is better FFVII or IX?
Also, would you recommend that one should play Crisis Core before playing FFVII?
