No I saw the ridiculousness in your comment and pointed out why its not the same as mine, you see populations and individuals are different, in evolution an individual may or may not live long enough to beget offsrping, therefore we cannot be certain if an individual was part of evolution of a species, however we can infer the evolution of a species a whole.  In much the same way, knowing that there are leaders of Jewish sect, does not indicate that Jesus existed, only that Jews exited at the time in that area, just as we cannot determine individuals from that evidence in evolution, neither can we determine individuals in the issue of christianity and Jews, however we can infer things about groups like the growth of Chrsitianity in the centuries that passed, even if we aren't certain whether Jesus was real or not
