Why do PS3s sell?

I love numbers.. The 360 as an Attachment rate between 4-5 What does that mean? People might of bought the 360 for Halo 3, but there buying everything else that comes out. They'll own Crackdown, Gears of War, Viva Pinata, Lost Planet, Oblivion and so on. The average user will own between 4 to 5 games. The PS3 as an Attachment rate of 1-1.5 What does that mean? The average PS3 user doesn't even own two games... That's insane, they own a $600 machine and they only have one game?? There's two possibilities that come to mind for this low attachment rate... These are the two reasons that I think sell PS3's. 1) PS3 Users are waiting for those killer apps that every ps3 fanboy has memorized 2) PS3 Users use it primarely for a Blu Ray player
