I recently saw that Gamestop is giving a free demo of Killzone 2 with preorders. This is extremely stupid and it really bothers me no matter what game it happens for. People who are preordering a game are already going to buy it. Why give them a demo? Isn't the demo supposed to entice other people to buy the game? Gamestop (and other stores that do this) should be giving a free demo of a DIFFERENT game with preorders. Doesn't anybody think these things through at the corporate level?
