Popularity has little to do with the actual quality of something. I've made constant rants about why halo 3 is popular, I don't want to get into it. But let's just say it's got mass market appeal :) Where as a title like Killzone 2 probably will not.

 

I was really not into Halo at the beginning but I gave it a try... and the online multiplayer mode convinced me. It is by far the most well done, advanced system you can have on a console to play online.

Now people compare it to other game by judging the campaign and this is bs! Yeaa I'm not into the story... with those weird gay alien etc...

But I'm convinced that HALO 3 is popular for his multiplayer.
