They write them off for a silly reason. The iPhone? Gimme a break. I bet that it will be hugely successful as a gaming device. But the whole touch-screen, movement sensor system has its limits. Gaming is one area where you need exact controls so you either need a stylus or buttons.
So the iPhone will be successful no doubt about it, but more akin to flash games are a success compared to PC gaming. A completely different area.
