Buy a new XBox 360 console. They are cheap these days. $200 is cheap for an Arcade XBox 360.
I have had my original XBox 360 for two and a half years. It started RRODing and DRE for over 2 months started back in October this year. I got sick of using towel trick so I have sent it to be repaired just within three year RROD warranty expiring. I sent my console away on December 22nd and bought a new XBox 360 Arcade on December 20th.
