The problem with something like the eye toy is the limited number of games that will be developed for it because it's not central to the PS3.
I'd never get it, myself. I tried it in a Best Buy once when the original came out and felt like a moron waving my arms around. I've had no problems with Wii or Guitar Hero demos in public. I think holding something kind of removes the awkwardness of it.
To cash in my CC rewards points for $300 in Circuit City gift cards to purchase a 360 or not: That is the question.
