If FF13 is scheduled for a late 09 release in Japan then there is 0% probability of v13 being released then as well as SE won't want them to cannibalize each others sales.  Look for v13 in 2010 at the earliest.  Nobody's doubting that it will sell a million, just the timeframe in which it will do it.
