I never said he was fired, I said he was removed from the Resident Evil series and he was.

No, he wasn't removed from the series either. Did you not read what I just wrote? He left Capcom in the capacity that he was to work with Clover Studios. After Capcom dissolved that studio and opened Seeds, Mikami shifted over there.

What the hell? Bud, just because a game gets great reviews or is GOTY does not make it a good Resident Evil game. When I play a game that has RE in the title I have expectations and he strayed too far from the roots of the series (Which CAPCOM themselves admitted). RE4 as a standalone game was fine, but as a RE game blew balls.

I'll grant you personal opinion but you happen to be in a very small minority on the opposite side of millions that proclaim it the best in the series. After gamers had began complaining the series was growing stale with the same formula, the creator reinvented his own wheel.

Yeah, except it's also on the PS2.

And the PSP too but that's not the point. Would this game have been put on GC a few years ago? Or any other Rockstar game? They put Smugglers Run: Warzones on it in 2002. The first and last game from Rockstar on the GC. Now they have 3 games in development in the first year alone for Wii. My point is the notions adhered to last generation no longer apply. To claim a DMC title will never hit the Wii is to completely ignore the reality of change that has happened in the past year.
