I beg to differ, their best franchise would be AVP or NOLF. FEAR was good too though, I loved that game.

AvsP wasn't their franchise. FEAR is owned by monolith tho. They were hired to do a sequel to the so so first game and my god did they do a good one...but they don't own the rights to the game nor will they be involved in future sequels if there are any planned.
I think they own the rights to Blood, FEAR and Shogo and thats about it... rest of the games they made as guns for hire.

True true. That still leaves NOFL though, and those games were awesome fun.
OT: What's with everyone and KZ2? If we're looking just at past achievements of the 2 developers, GG doesn't come even up to a 10th of the quality of games that Monolith has been churning out for decades.

I think its the whole exclusivity factor that PS3 fans are hyping killzone for. Its something non ps3 owners can't play. The demos they showed off look nice graphically I admit, but gameplay wise I havent seen anything that makes me want to buy a ps3 for. Every demo I've seen seems like...
Stop and pop a few guys...bunch of army dudes yelling...explosions everywhere...stop and pop...etc
On the other hand if FEAR 2 was a ps3 exclusive I'd buy a ps3 tomorrow.
