@andamanen: Finally someone who actually read what was posted!
@steven787: You fail at reading.

 Again, here is my link to Sony Computer Entertainment Europe - Press Release in regards to your claims.  No where in there does it say free.

If it were free, don't you think Sony would say that?

The quote in the article from andamanen:

We contacted SCEI, and they said

"Yes, it will be free for download on the PSN, and we are thinking of charging---but doubt it. For now it is free."

Notice your source.  Playstation Universe.  Copyright 2006-2007 GameBurst Media Ltd. All Right Reserved. So some guy from a website makes a call to their deep internal source at Sony.

A quote from the February 26, 2007 press release from SCEE on Gran Turismo HD Concept:

First sentence:

1. A big year for Gran Turismo starts with a free download for PS3 owners

Later...

2. "Gran Turismo HD Concept will be amongst its first offerings. A playable one-track glimpse of the next stage in the iconic motoring title’s evolution, Gran Turismo HD Concept is available as a free download for PS3 owners from PLAYSTATION®Store (PS Store), PLAYSTATION®Network’s download site. "

3. Select Gran Turismo HD Concept and download for free

4. Gran Turismo HD Concept is free to download from PS Store

Notice if you read this press release the word FREE shows up 4 times in a ~250 word press release, once in the first sentence.

Please continue to explain your reasoning, I find it amusing.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
