Ah, I think this is an emerging trend with JRPG sales in the West. It *seems* that the longer the delay, the worse the game sales. Lost Odyssey, Tales of Vesperia, The Last Remnant, and Infinite Undiscovery all saw releases pretty close to their Eastern releases (usually within 1-3 months)....All did pretty respectible vs. the Japanese sales. Whilst Blue Dragon and Valkyria Chronicles were pretty late, and sold rather poorly given the Japanese sales numbers. I know in Blue Dragon's case, it was pretty atrocious. The game got Western reviews (before it came here) in the high 80's and low 90's. Once it released here, the reviews were horrible, and gave the game high 70's....Which was wierd given the glowing previews of the game. Methinks the delays can hurt anticipation for any given Eastern title, and hurt sales.

That's exactly why SO4 has a pretty good chance of getting a million copies(or close to it) no matter what system it is on.
