@Groucho:

You're an idiot

Am I?
Yes.

Don't you know that wireless creates so much more latency?  Look it up!

I use wired.  Most consumers don't have the knowledge to set it up.  What makes you think I'm foolish enough to believe that most consumers have the same level of technical expertise as myself?
You are saying most consumers can't set up a wired network?  Well!  Don't you dare let them attempt wireless! That's much more difficult!

I use my PS3 with an ethernet cable as should all gamers that don't want to deal with extra lag.  Also, when I bought my PS3 (granted it was $600 at the time), I had to buy a seperate HDMI cable that was $100 from Sony

Wait.  Lol.  You were saying I was an idiot above?
Read the line below.  He said he DIDN'T let them rape him for that cost.

Of course I didn't let Sony rape me on that cost.  Face it, that tired old 360 costing more than the PS3 argument should be buried.

Also, the big point about recharging batteries: have you had to send your controller back to Sony cause it won't hold a charge? I've had to and it sucks. You might as well buy a new one for the time you have to wait.

I'm not comparing the controller to Sony's.  Although... Sony's controller will use any USB cable to recharge... you have to pay MS an extra $15 to recharge theirs.  Hmm.
What's that? I can get rechargable AA batteries for $9?  What's that?  The USB cables are all very short so I can't play comfortably while charging?  What's that?  The battery in the PS3 controller is internal and requires a new controller when the battery fails to hold a charge? Hmm... $9 or $50?

Yeah, MS did a much better job on making the hard drive an optional accessory, because it seems like every game I get for the PS3 needs to be installed(around 3-5GB everytime!!)

Right.  I bet you never use the NXE install option, so you can hear your game over your DVD drive.
The newer DVD drives are much more quiet.  Even when they were loud, like the one I have, I can still hear over it with ease.  You don't notice it once the game is playing.

Sorry but i'm having some major buyers remorse. I wish I just got the 360.  I'm tired of having the same games with slower framerates and lower resolution.  Why have you cursed us so SONY!!!????!?!?!?

*cry*
You should cry.. you made some very poor choices.

Nightsurge, do you have like 3 accounts?  Just wondering.

Poor, poor Groucho.  He comes into this topic, goes completely off course by mentioning some fanboyish argument over the price and add-ons, then gets proven wrong, then his only remaining argument is to try and bash us for misspelling a word?  I am very sorry that I have not pleased you, grammar nazi.  Next time I shall proofread better.

And no, I have one account.  PS4Life joined a while ago posting some positive "PS3 pricecut" article crap.. I don't know where he came from to post in this thread.

Also, I believe my response stated many alternatives, including cheaper HDD and wireless, all of which made the 360 a better value.  Now please, stop de-railing this thread on ATTACHMENT RATIOS and go rethink your "logic."
