I agree. It's all about price. Both PS3 and X360 game libraries are so stuffed already that from now on the sales are solely determined by pricing.

Killzone this, Alan Wake that, God ov War OMG is of course very interesting discussion and bragging material for fanboys and hardcore gamers, but practically a non factor for analysts perdicting sales and the winner of this gen.

(HD consoles)

ah good point, forgot about the fact that the number of exclusives for PS3 and 360 are pretty small.  So many multiplats between them.  Guess so used to all Wii games seemingly are only for Wii.  Heck even some games that are multiplat like rayman raving rabbids was, is basically a wii exclusive because of how the control worked for the game

So yea I guess between HD consoles then looking at the same library give or take a few games then price does make more of a factor.  But still I feel that i would be more inclined to get a 360 over a PS3 not becuase of price (which is nice) but because more of my friends have a 360 than a PS3 and thus easier to get:

1. game recomendation

2. borrow games from friends

3. play online with friends

4. talk about the exclusive games with friends

5. both you and friends accustomed to same controller.

Those things can easily cover a price difference, thus why i don't think price is that huge a factor.
