I can tell, as you PooPoo'ed the OP.

HDMI is a connection type, nothing more, nothing less.

It is capable of delivering up to 1080P (1440P some would tell you) and does just fine on 480P displays.

Edit, yes, they will have HDCP as well, its part of the HDMI spec :)
