Trust me, I'd be happiest if it came to ps3 but I understand that dev costs hinder a move like that since they're not 100% on the game's reception.
Ps2 is the next best thing.
I'm just not a handheld gamer and psp doesn't have much life outside Japan so it's hard for me to decide to get one. Also, I have the feeling they'd abandon the PE2 type gameplay in favor of the original PE-style because the reception of PE was way better than PE2. IMO, PE2 is one of the best games ever made so I get the feeling I'd be disappointed in the 3rd birthday anyway.
