I didn't you could find random sales on movies, in fact, I mentioned that's the only way I buy BluRay movies. Retarded or not, unless you find a random sale on BluRay movies, they are generally $10-15 more for a movie and usually about $30 for a series. And I refuse to pay more than $25 for a movie so why would I spend more than $25 for the free shipping? Yeah, that works for series and boxed sets but not so great for movies since I don't buy multiple movies at a time. -edit- Also, Band of Brothers is a bad example since it's been marked down to nothing in just about every store imaginable. That's like saying you got a good deal on Buffy Season 1 because you got it for $15. (and don't get me wrong, Buffy is the shit and I have the whole series, it's just not impressive to get it for cheap) |
I don't pay more than $15 for a movie but I will buy 2, 3 movies at a time.
Band of Brothers is a great example as it's been marked down everywhere and therefore it's only $5 more expensive than regular DVD thus proving my point.
TDK = 14.99, 20.99 (2 disc) on DVD, 23.99 (3 disc) on BR on Amazon
Wall e = 14.99, 22.99 (3 disc) on DVD, 24.49 (3 disc), 21.49 (2 disc) on BR on Amazon
Transformers = 20.99, 24.99 (2 disc) on DVD, 19.99 (2 disc) on BR on Amazon
Resident Evil Degeneration = 19.99 on DVD, 19.99 on BR on Amazon
Band of Brothers = 32.49 on DVD, 37.49 on BR on Amazon
Again if you pay $15 more for a BR disc, you're retarded.
