I'm not pushing for passivism I'm just saying that people hating the Wii is a good thing, especially on internet channels.
First I believe the hate is a positive thing as usually video gamers tend to be the ones to go to video gaming web sites, this means you can narrow down what demographic doesn't like the Wii and where they fit into the market.
Any way my point is that the more dislike a section of the market has that means the product is well known and that the public must be widely aware of the product, in turn the hate for the product existing is due to it's success and fear that the product hinders their product of choice's growth; but truth is that they hate succeds for the same reason they hate it, meaning their is a sizable and much larger demographic that love the product. I'm sure they is some way to quantify that ratio.
In the end I can't agree with your OP because it either argues a point that went over my head or that arguement is flimsy.
