They do usually have sales and deals going on to make them affordable, but for the most part, they are $10-15 more than DVD's. DVD's are usually somewhere around $19-24 while BluRay movies new at full price are usually $30-35 (so I guess that's $6-15 more). I see the occasional really bad movie for $24 but that's because it's the occasional really bad movie and the DVD is even cheaper.

If you pay more than $5 or $10 (At the very most for a movie you really want) then you're retarded, you should never pay $15 more for a BD movie, I just paid $5 more for a BD box set (Band of Brothers).
