yeah the hole Cologne vs. Düsseldorf fight that has been going on since the middle-ages is quite funny. I don´t mind drinking Alt-Bier (can´t say that in public here), if its good and from the tab I´ll like it a lot. Kölsch and Alt are both great in their own way but I just like Kölsch more. I lived in Düsseldorf for almost a year and became very fond of it (When carnival starts I have to hate them thoug). Where are you in Düsseldorf ??? I lived in Eller for almost a year (but a good part) and I still know some cool guys from Hilden.
I´m pretty sure I had Augustinerbräu when I was on vacation in Bavaria and liked it a lot. (Didn´t got to the Oktoberfest though... to expencive for me)
