Haha epic fail. The 'jaggies' your talking about actually happened on the X360 version after the September 6 update and were due to caching issues. The same happened to PC but it can be corrected by the user.
The PS3 version ships with the widescreen option called "horizontal plus" which was introduced via a patch in the 360 version and the cutscene videos are of a much higher resolution than in the DVD version.
