Its actually interesting to not that th 100k first day was a pretty high sellthrough of the initial shipment (70-75%?) And that retailers are now requesting second shipment by the weekend to prevent mass sellout (currently only selective). This is pretty odd considering this is the biggest PS3 blockbuster since MGS for Japan...
My original prediction was 200k-250k first week... this might still be achievable (albeit at the lower 200k end) but I must say that I am a bit dissapointed in the first day sale. I was expecting 150k shifted, which incidently would have been more than the entire shipment and obviously impossible.
