Nintendo is a company... nd companies love money. Money > fans

Of course that's a given. What's your point. Actually makes the other points silly considering if they wanted our money they would please us because not pleasing us would bring in less money. I think Ninty understands that business model pretty well. Which is why they keep releasing products for its loyal fanbase.

it's loyal, or fickle fanbase? I'll go with the latter. I mean, if the wii had failed, more HD console games would have been made, more would succeed, there would be more support.. Whereas now, most companies that aren't nintendo can't sell a non high budget game on a nintendo system, which is currently the market leader. So many game concepts killed off... and Soon, entire game companies will also die out, such as midway, and atari (although, it was a long time coming for them)

And also: I was taking a jab, you know, sayin' they're getting greedy. It's obvious :P

Well I'd say every company is greedy to a certain extent.  This is why Ninty will continuously milk the Mario and now Wii brand.  But remember they do offer a service, Club Nintendo, that rewards you free gifts for purchasing those items.  I'd say that's a pretty big, ungreedy service for it's consistent userbase.
