No, it does not improve the Nunchuk's motion sensing. The Wii Motion+ is simply an extra tilt sensor attached to the Wiimote. There is no way that you can improve the Nunchuk's motion sensing simply by attaching it to something because it doesn't change the overall hardware of the device itself that determines the extent of its motion sensing capabilities.
