With the new 45nm Cell and RSX hitting around March or so, Sony should have enough margin to cut price again by summer if they feel the need to. And as the number of PS3's sold continues to rise, software sales will as well, which will continue to offset losses made on hardware. One thing for sure is that we'll definitely be seeing a big price-cut from Sony by the end of next year. Especially in Japan, with it's strong yen and Final Fantasy XIII exclusive to it, Sony really can't afford not to make the most of that release by dropping to price and vastly expanding their potential market.
