I think there is a problem here in that some people seem to think you mean upscale as in resolution, which is what a launch PS3 already does I believe.
Others think you mean to up the graphics entirely, ie make MGS2 look like MGS4 and such, except you would then need to buy them all again.

So the question is for the latter of those two, how many people are willing to buy an entire library of games again just to have them look nicer.... Personally I don't have much interest in the PS2s library above any other games machine, so no.
