What Dryden and Kasz216 are debating has nothing to do with my issues with LBP, which are to do with the moderation of levels so they can sell it to us instead, in a game which promotes creative freedom. MM outright lied about allowing us to use copyrighted IPs (which is legally allowed since it is classed as parody...like comedians do as an example) right up until day of release, up to that point no beta level was deleted, they demod IP theme levels at gameshows, and even there official website was promoting a level they had in fact moderated.
Kasz216 is presenting an argument about limitation on abilties and tools to create with, which Dryden is replying to.
I'm not overlooking those posts, they just have nothing to do with the subject I highlight flaws with.

So, ok, let me get this right. You're upset that MM deleted the MGS levels that were on there already? Might it be because they made the game look bad(MGS and LBP for that matter)? The MGS levels already created were poor quality, and very short.
Regardless of how bad I think those user created levels were, is that why you're upset?

No, when the game was first released, and during the beta, there were some really good ones, the release day came and levels getting deleted all over the place.
Since then the only themed levels made are quick crap attempts just made to get plays for trophies, because no one wants to spend 8+ hours making a level just for it to get deleted.
Fact is they deleted some really good user made levels, just to sell it to the userbase instead.

You can play levels based off of IPs by the thousands. They have some really increadible levels too, and MGS ones to boot. They haven't deleted any levels based off of IPs in weeks now. But your right, I'm sure it's all a conspiracy to get us to buy the mgs pack. Delete some levels, leave lots of others.
