Britain has more different cultures than any country in the world so depends where you live.

I highly disagree with that.

I'd say both the US and China have way more.

I wouldnt say Britain but London is widely recognised as the most multicultural city in the world.

By who?

The ones i've seen named are

Sydney

Toronto

Amsterdam

and New York.

When it comes to an actual country... Each province of China is like it's own country, and it's the same way with America and the states and having pretty much every culture there.

America is going to have every outside culture that Britian is going to have plus the states.

London, New York, Toronto and Sydney are all competing, but you aren't really able to find a clear outcome as there are many different ways you can take the term "multicultural".

Which would kinda defeat the "Widely considered" comment.

As for country... I take it as "This country has the most cultures".

In which case Britian would be pretty behind.

The only way it'd have a chance would be if you considered multi-cultural to mean "Lots of people from other cultures live here as a reflection of percentage of the population."

I was thinking of it in the % o people born outside that country brought into it, but lets let this die seeing as we will never agree and its completely irrelevant : )

merry christmas! :D

% of people born outside of the country brought into it?

In that Case Britain isn't even close...

The UK's immigrant population is less then 10%.

In the US it's like 15%....

and the real winner would probably be the United Arab Emmirates.

With Dubai being the city winner.

Most of the people that live in the UAE are from other countries... well over 50% i believe.

Not argueing... just pointing out if that's your standard UAE and Dubai win.

I'd be surprised if Dubai was even 10% natives.
