Personally i perfer the agree that we have different opinions on the quality of the story.... but whatever.
Does this mean I get to pick the weapons then?
If so I choose a best of 5 game of connect four where the loser is killed via poison gas.
Or better yet. Tic Tac Toe. Then it'd be like the Duel where Andrew Jackson just fired in the air.
Matsuno's storytelling just seemed to go downhill from the Ogre Series. Even Final Fantasy Tactics.... which is a fine game... is well below the Ogre standard... and draws too obviously on the influences that inspired it. (The Roman Catholic Church and the period where it was the head of Europe.)
That's what Matsuno does though... he gets directly inspired and gets his take on it.
