Sure plenty of older people know of the Play Station brand. Mostly for people who sit in a dark room hunched infront of TV looking like some nerd. They will still know the name.

Though to the OP your right behind the idea. The generation is already determined before release. I'm pretty sure most people already believe that Sony and MS will adopt Wii values. While keeping it's old values.

Personally now that Nintendo has sucessfully integrated the "sensor/light" bar without a hitch. They can now add stuff to it. How about WiiSpeak and a Webcam(like DSi, 360). The Wii already has BT why not allow the Wii to use that BT to access images on the BT cell phone or have a Wii Phone shop channel. Wii does have a weather, news, TV Guide(jpn), TV BBC?(UK awesome, idea)They may also add a mic to the Wiimote.

I don't believe making the Wii2 all that more accessible is going to be the goal of the next system. Making it more life usable will probably what will happen more. It's accessing the distant market that are not video game orientated that is the target. Much like the DSi direction. How can you make a simpler controller? The Wiimote can see some improvement, but otherwise as a controller it's the most adaptable, easy to use and has the most feauters. Without being complex.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
