Capcom, one of the oldest game developers in the world, decided to make a little treat to their old time fans, and do you know how many old time fans would have paid for that game in the past 10 years or so? Over 80$ my friend!

Megaman was released at a time when less than a handful of people could design a game within a tiny budget, that game was fully styled and designed around the hardware limitations of the NES and IMO it shows. For today's standards I expect more effort, I don't share your nostalgic feelings at all. I'm sorry. I think Capcom must be making huge profits on this game.

The first Megaman was released in 1989 here, at a time when quality Amiga games like these existed:

The New Zealand Story (sadly straight 1989 Atari ST port, like most Ocean Amiga games at the time, but still a platformer A LOT more fun to me than Megaman...):

Those were quality games back then for me, the bulk of NES games were laughable to me. (Mario 1 and especially 3 were great though)

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."
