Playstation 3 needs a lot of strong IPs

Yeah, Japanese developers don`t think so. :)
Good for me, i like Japanese games usually more. 

The problem is that those games have been in development since what 2006? Early 2007 ? When people expected PS3 to take off and crush the opposition. Now 2 years have passed and PS3 is having abysmal time in Japan, and not many more Japanese exclusives have been announced. Look at the recently announced releases for the Wii (which were caused by it's sales world wide)

 

With HD development costs only few exclusive 3rd Party games on PS3 are able to sell well (MGS4, Versus) the rest will share the fate of VC. Multiplat is the future of HD consoles because of the costs.
