This entire post says absolutely nothing about gameplay, innovation, game library, general appeal, or third-party support. Those are all important measures for a console's success, and the combination of these as well as technological capabilities and price have played an integral role in all of the consoles. I expect no different from this generation.
Of course, the PS3 has not lost yet but only a fanboy will be unable to admit that they will need a major turn-around in many of these other categories to come. There is very little growth when it comes to the differences between systems because as the PS3 becomes better, so will the Wii and 360. I am very tired of hearing that the Wii's technology will become MORE dated. How can it become more dated if no new technology is coming out? You're faith that the PS3 will make a comeback is justified, but the reasons that you have provided are way off base not mention that many of the "facts" are entirely wrong.
