Here's the real news - Sony IS cutting 16,000 workers total. That was plastered all over the news. Not just on blogs, but newspapers and networks. This? MS laying off 10,000? Nice joke thread./sarcasm

Just more cherry-picked propaganda to make Sony PS3 bots feel great about their superior investment. Sony's woes aren't going away any time soon.

A couple of months ago, I would have said that, but after the MS price-cut rumour (September) that I didn't believe was true cause no one else but VGC picked it up, I'd give it the benefit of the doubt. 

Rumors that get picked up by everyone are usually wrong, and rumors that aren't are usually right, from what I can see.
