I understand this, but I guess I worded my post badly. I guess my question is, what is the value of spending more on graphics hardware, as Microsoft and Sony chose to do, when you can produce games this stunningly beautiful on lesser hardware? I guess it's hard to raise this question without sounding like flamebait.


 The easiest way for me to think of it is to think of two different painters.  One has your basic supplies while the other may have all sorts of fancy things on top of their basic supplies.  No wait, that's not very good.  One has a basic canvas while the other has a bigger...no, still no good.  Fuck I'm tired.  Ignore me today.  This made sense in my head! :-p
