apart from a few other major inaccuracies, I think the whole conception that "Xbox360 is a known quantity" is another glaring mistake in your analysis. Multi-core gaming is still in its infancy, And when the Xbox was released this was even more true. Obviously the main advantage of the Xbox360 over the PS3 was the extra year or so the developers had, but simply stating that the Xbox was "Straightforward" is completely wrong.
All in all, it seems you just picked a few numbers that made the PS3 look good and called it a day without really understanding how the whole thing goes together.
