I've played a lot of games and I've never had or wanted to use the classic or GC controller, I've also never played a game that called for "waggling"which is really just a meaningless put down and no more descriptive of real gameplay than calling traditional controllers wiggling (your thumbs).
I will admit that for some games there was a need for more precision and less latency but those concerns will be addressed by motion+ which bring true real time one to one motion.
It also has a lot to do with the game developers getting to know how to really use motion control and not just tacking it on. I was a big Call of Duty fan on the PC but was very dissapointed with CoD3 on the Wii which I felt used the controls very poorly. Overall its reviews reflected this (69 metacritic).
But I knew from Link Crossbow trainer how really good control could be with the zapper. I didn't rush out to get Cod WaW because I wanted to be sure they had done a better job. (Reviews indicate they may have (83 metacritic) so I got my copy last night. I look forward to playing it.
Two things will make a big difference; motion+ and game developers taking the sytem seriously. By the time the next gen consoles roll out I predict, with some confidence, that anyone wiithout motion control will feel cheated and any console not using it will fail.
