hope you enjoy Fallout 3 as much as i have. i really think its the best game of the year but everyone has there opinion.
play it your way and stumble around for a little and you'll find what works for you. but its up to you how you want to play but i now have 87 hours in this game and only have done 1 main quest looking for old dad. there's more places to go and things to do then you can count, and the best side quest you'll find anywhere, so no reason to rush threw the main quest, take time to do side quest and do some searching and looking around till you level up some.
everything you need is out there in the world so there's really no excuse to run out of anything after a reasonable amount of time looking around.
