Out of the four wii games, Mad world I think is the least likely to hit a million. Who is Mad World going to appeal to that No More Heroes didn't? A few extra will be grabbed by the art style but 600,000 extra?

The previous Sonic game hit 1 million, so there's a chance for Black Knight to do so.

RE Umbrella chronicles hit 1 million so it's at least possible for another light gun shooter to do so.

The conduit has a buttload of hype behind it, is making every attempt at being a "modern" FPS, and while I think it may struggle (looking at the latest COD), I think it can hit 1 million. Metroid Prime 3 and Red Steel both managed.

But Mad World? The closest game to it as a reference mark is No More Heroes, which while beloved is struggling to hit 400k. It had plenty of internet ads, exposure, clips on gametrailers, good to great reviews, word of mouth, and less than 400k. I think Mad World is going to have it's work cut out for it.

I don't think COD:W@W is a good guideline. Right or wrong, people are aware of the Wii's limitations next to the PS3 and 360, and I think they don't trust the Wii version of the multi-platform games to be anything other than a gimped version. MP3 managed to hit 1m with a smaller user base and no multiplayer. The reviews will be important for the Conduit (and Mad World) as its a new IP, but it should sell 1-2m. I'd be surprised if it goes higher.

Where Mad World has an advantage over NMH is the visuals make a much stronger impression, and there is nothing else that looks like it. I still don't think it'll hit 1m, but it should do better than NMH.

HoD 2 and 3 sold well because it was cheap. The new HoD won't have that advantage, and it is not nearly the franchise that RE is. I expect it to go gold, but it will take awhile to hit 1m, if it even can.

Sonic will easily pass 1m, and I won't be surprised to see it hit 4-5m.
