If you want a number that could indicate that, then the research would have to be done on your own.

Try to find out how many (in percentage) Xbox360's fail, then find out which model fails the most then find out the prices for each model and any updates to each sku that could decrease some of the failure rates over the last 3 years. Then get the difference from the total units sold.

After that you just need to add back based on how many of those failed users actually bought another and also how many of them have bought multiple 360's from retail. This is all from retail... of course using the numbers here helps eliminate worrying about retail numbers sold to consumers.
