This is old news in context and there are many other threads on this.
Also the title is somewhat 'baiting' IMHO.
OT I'm amazed that so many people seem surprised or think there's something going on here with Sony and MM that is unfair.
One of the things that fascinates me about LBP, that contributes to why I think its GOTY and is just amazing when you think about it, is that it delivers a YouTube ability to post content, with the added bonus of giving you the tools to create the content.
Guess what - in a monetary society with copyright and infringement laws (which are not totally clear TBH) there are conflicts with the desire of posters to have 100% freedom to post what they like, the hard reality they don't legally have it, and the fact that moderation is the inevitable result.
That's all there is to it. And for my money this makes LBP more interesting, innovative and good than a bucket full of nonetheless great games like Fallout 3, Gears 2, RFOM 2, etc, etc.
Now please can we quit with threads either implying LBP is a failure and gloating about it - it's really not mature certain 360 owners - or threads about how Sony and MM are 'evil' because they moderate.
Its the world we live in, not rules made explicitly by Sony and MM. Hell, think about it. I could post a Gears 2 LBP level (and as you can actually string levels together in LBP I could remake the entire game - with less violence and more cuteness admittedly).
And if Microsoft wanted to they could hit Sony and MM with a 'cease and desist' on the content - so guess what, when the content seems too close to the edge of our unclear copyright laws Sony and MM take the prudent choice and moderate it rather than risk something that could truly affect what LBP is trying to allow us to do.
I will say that, given the attention LBP receives it's clear, less sales or not, it's a title that's having a wider impact than most better selling sequels recently.
Oh, and did I mention it's great and sure to get GOTY in some lists and runner up in many others? It's just that good.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
