The thing is you're saying that they need to respect the opinion of the one reviewer that decided to give these two games a 10 and award them for it. I say it'll be up to the voters to decide, and I say that because they obviously didn't make them do anything they didn't want to do in the section awards. They let the Wii team vote in World of Goo. They let the 360 team vote in Fallout 3. They let the PC team vote in Sins. I honestly think they'll let them choose their own GOTY, and I have a good feeling the majority will choose Fallout 3.

If it comes down to the voters, I think that will knock out Galactic Civilizations II, Metal Gears Solid 4, Gears of War II, and World of Goo because they were only on one to two systems in the case of Goo. Which will mean the winner will come down to GTA IV and Fallout 3. By far the better console version of Fallout 3 was on 360 while GTA IV PS3 is considered to be the best version of the game by quite a few critics. The PS3 version of Fallout 3 had a lot of bugs at release and probably didn't finish as high as GTA IV in IGN PS3 Game of the Year voting. So, I think GTA IV would win if it came down to the voters because it was multi-platform and performed better across all of its platforms than Fallout 3. Also, it is much more popular.
My most anticipated games: Whatever Hideo Kojima is going to do next, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Gran Turismo 5, Alan Wake, Wii Sports Resort. Cave Story Wiiware.
