Last I checked, the Crackdown 2 rumor cited that RTW wouldn't be developing the game...So what's the point of saying 'We're not making it' when the rumor said they weren't?
That PR statement holds up about as much as Michael Jackson having no plastic surgery. Sure, they deny, but it's pretty obvious what's going on.
They confirmed that 5-6 people left RTW for Ruffian, and guess what? If those 5-6 developers are higher-ups that played huge design roles in Crackdown...You have enough. Developers are a dime a dozen (especially since all the layoffs), so recruiting a dev army would be easy as long as the proper management was in place.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
