Yes, the 360 is doing solid overall in North America. The problem, however, is both the audience target AND the fact that European sales are mediocre at best with japan virtually non-existant. As bad as the hardcore audience looks at the Wii, the reversed can be said of the 360 AND the PS3 with the casual/nongamer audience. Between Wii Sports, Big Brain Academy, MySims, and who knows what else in store for this year BESIDES the wiimote's drawing power (ease of use for simpler games), the 360/PS3 have no real chance of "breaking" into this crowd with just a price drop. Currently the PS3 and 360 are targetting the same hardcore crowd, with casuals as a bonus for some time. The Wii is targetting non-gamers, casual gamers, former gamers, and THEN the hardcore last, thus why most "hardcore" gamers have grown tired of it. If the Wii grabs a majorty of the "light gamer" market while being a nice 2nd console to the "hardcore" market and/or those on a budget (me!), the Wii will easily be sitting on top this gen. And guess what is happening so far? :)

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.
