The Wii is a phenomenon based on the controller. It has reached a cultural milestone that wouldn't have happened without that input method. Unless PS3 had that same marketing and similarly vastly new experience, then it wouldn't touch that phenomenon. It would however keep its stronghold in the hardcore community and with developer support would have sold far more than the 360. I would guess that the 360 would be sitting around the 19 million mark, Wii around 35-40 million and PS3 at about 28 million. Keep in mind that a lot of the 360 development would have been in question had the PS3 been more popular.
