Imagine an alternate universe where the bombs went off in the game and real life at the same time.  Sure you'd be dead along with half the planet, and no one would be alive to appreciate the coincidence, but still!

Haha.

 I prefer the non-death synchronous event to be honest. I'm not sure I would enjoy being melted.
