Not so much in a game, but during one...
I was playing Bionic Commandos on C64 with a mate and it was the final level with Nuclear Warheads or some such (this happened about 20 years ago, so my mind is hazy) when the nuclear alert siren went off in town. We both bricked ourselves badly, switched over to BBC1, having paused the game, realised the England cricket match was still on and that we weren't about to be destroyed by the Russians, and went on to complete the game.
