Metal gear solid 1 and psycho mantis - reading your memory card and saying "You like castlevania dont you?" WTF!?!
Resident evil 1 and the tyrant - when he pops out of the ground as you wait for the chopper I had to pause the game...too fucking scary
Discovering super sonic in Sonic 2 after you get all the emeralds
Castlevania Sotn - Beating Richter properly by fluke the second time I played through the game and discovering I just opened another castle and doubled the games length.
